About Me
The Cheeky Chocolate Queen (aka Bec) began her chocolate journey in 2009, when she started making rocky road for her friends. The rocky road was so delicious that her friends encouraged her to start selling it at local markets. Bec realised there were no other local chocolate sellers at markets near her, and that’s when it all began! She started by selling chocolate frogs, and from there, her range of gourmet chocolates continued to evolve.
Today, there are over 65 flavours of chocolate frogs available, in addition to an extensive chocolate block range. You will find Bec at events such as the Royal Adelaide Show, where she offers her sell-out showbags, and her chocolates are stocked in boutique stores around Adelaide. Her online store is always open with delivery available Australia-wide.
My Story
“It started on Facebook — it was called Paper Purses By Bec And Choccies Galore, because I had a paper purse business as well. Still working full time, I began selling only on the weekends until about 2019 when I opened a shop on Beach Road at Christie’s Beach. We were there for almost two years, but unfortunately there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic around Beach Road. We were paying rent for nothing, really, while the business online was doing quite well. Now I’ve moved the shop online, and I will still be doing regular pop-ups at Marion and the Royal Adelaide Show.” ~ Bec
the beginning
From the beginning Bec began selling homemade Rocky Road at markets on advice from friends, and soon discovered she was the only chocolate seller there.
Next, she created her signature product — a chocolate frog. Bec started off making it in plain, milk, white and two-tone chocolate. Now, her chocolate frogs range up to 64 different flavours.
Community support has been central to The Cheeky Chocolate Queen’s journey, with Bec’s customers finding her at markets, the Royal Adelaide Show, a pop-up collective in Marion, and her online store.

The Cheeky Chocolate Queen’s vegan range is the biggest seller — with over 35 different flavours. The whole range has increased with special creations for Easter, Christmas and Valentines Day.
